About
M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards is a prestigious international competition dedicated to independent screenwriters worldwide. This platform celebrates excellence in storytelling, offering Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees in screenwriting to distinguished winners.
As part of its commitment to nurturing cinematic talent, MARPSA hosts annual masterclasses in screenwriting. Throughout these intensive courses, participants develop their own screenplays under expert guidance. Upon successful completion, each writer will be awarded an official certification from MARPFS (M&R Pictures Film School), marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.

M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards – Prize Structure
The M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards recognizes excellence in screenwriting across various categories, awarding prestigious certifications at three levels:
• Master’s Degree (MARPFS – Master’s Level)
• Bachelor’s Degree (MARPFS – Bachelor’s Level)
• Diploma in Screenwriting (MARPFS – Diploma Level)
Each winner will receive official certification from MARPFS (M&R Pictures Film School), symbolizing their achievement and mastery in screenwriting.

M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards – Official Rules & Regulations
Language & Entry Fees
All scripts must be submitted in English, and entry fees must be paid in U.S. dollars. Entry in the competition is void where prohibited by law.
Writer Credits & Authorization
All writers’ names must be listed in the online entry form.
"Written by" credits on the script/pilot file are optional.
By submitting to the M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards, the entrant warrants that all listed writers have authorized the submission.
If a screenplay has multiple authors, all awards will be granted to the entrant of record, with distribution of proceeds at the writers' discretion.

No Returns
Submitted entries will not be returned. Please retain a personal copy of all materials.
Retention of Rights
Entrants retain all rights to their screenplays.
Submission Deadlines
All entries must be received by the applicable Entry Deadline.
Revisions & Resubmissions
Once a script has been submitted, no revisions or substitutions will be accepted.
If a revised draft is required, it must be submitted as a new entry with a separate entry fee.
Confidentiality & Judging
The M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards will not share any screenplay with individuals outside of the official judging panel without prior permission.
Originality & Copyright Compliance
By entering, the entrant confirms that their submission is original work and does not infringe on any copyrights or legal rights of third parties.
Entry Fees
All entry fees are non-refundable.
Cover Page Information
Including author name and/or contact details on the script’s cover page is optional.
Judging Decisions
The decisions of the judges are final and not subject to appeal.
Competition Adjustments
M&R Pictures Screenwriting Awards reserves the right to make changes, postponements, or cancellations at its discretion.
Winner Notifications & Prize Redemption
Winners and finalists will be notified via email and announced on the official website.
It is the responsibility of winners to redeem prizes and provide accurate contact and mailing information for prize distribution.
Winner Photo Requirement
All winners must provide a high-quality photo with a white background for promotional purposes.
